What’s in the podcast?
SEASON 1 – In the first season I explore what fluid and reciprocal leadership and followership look like in the every day work of my guests. These stories demonstrate how essential it is to be able to switch between both roles and especially to be able to fully embody the followership role. If you’re wondering what lead & follow looks like in practice, check out Season 1, Episodes 1-24!
SEASON 2 – In the second season, I talk with educators around the country who are integrating followership into existing leadership programs. You’ll get expert guidance and resources for doing this for your own company or institution, and you’ll also gain an appreciation for how followership skills make us better leaders. Start with the 3-part series on the President’s Leadership Program at CNU, Christopher Newport University!
QUICK TIPS – 5-minute bonus episodes that feature one practice you can try out immediately to feel more connected at work.
About the Book
If you’ve sat through a hundred leadership trainings and always felt that something was missing, this may be the book for you.
Rather than yet another set of leadership skills, this book describes nine pairs of skills – nine for leadership and nine for followership – and how they fit together. You’ll learn how to assess which role you need to stand in and how best to express it given what’s going on around you.
